BPTC Module V - (Safety Classification of Structures, Systems and Components)


This module covers safety classification with identification of functions and design provisions, categorization of functions, classification of structures, systems and components, verification of the safety classification and selection of engineering design rules for SSCs.

Case studies are in the form of exercises that the trainees are expected to study in groups. The goal is to understand the Safety Classification process according to new safety guide SSG-30.

Textbook contains 42 pages, and there are 37 transparencies for 3-month course and 31 transparencies for 1-month course. There are also 6 multiple choice questions that the lecturer can use for the weekly exam.
