This Module covers the development of the surveillance programme, surveillance of integrity of barriers, surveillance of safety systems, and surveillance of other items. Module also covers in-service inspection including in-service inspection programme, extent of in-service inspection, inspection schedules and some other subchapters. At the end there is an overview of important IAEA safety standards.
Case studies are in the form of questions that are expected to be discussed in small groups and presented at the end. There are also 8 multiple choice questions that the lecturer can use for the weekly exam.
