Objective

To provide information and guidance on the following sub-topics:

• Key elements for public information and involvement in nuclear regulatory activities based on the IAEA guidance documents and international experiences
• Role and responsibilities of the Regulatory Body in public Information and Involvement in Regulatory Activities
• Skills for communicating nuclear safety issues to the public and other interested parties; handling of nuclear safety issues on press and media

To share experiences and good practices of some MS’s in Phase 2 or beyond, which are considered as good examples on the topic for embarking countries
