As a part of ORPAS preparation, Member States are encouraged to complete the self-assessment in the form of questions tailored to the three set of participants involved in an ORPAS mission. These are the regulatory body, the operators (licensees and registrants) and the TSP.
The questionnaires have been incorporated in computer software called 'self-assessment of regulatory infrastructure for safety' (SARIS) which automates and streamlines the use of the questionnaires and the production of reports.
