Pre-work
PURPOSE
Pre-work is the segment 2 of the school and is intended to undergo an online self-training course on the IAEA's CLP4NET platform. The main aim of this segment is to familiarize participants with the core elements of the process followed for the elaboration and promulgation of national regulations for safety.
The self-training course also gives details about the organizational details of the presential workshop of the School (segment 3). Completion of this self-training course is mandatory for registered participants in the segment 3 of the School.
Non-registered individuals can also access the learning material of this segment of the School only for formative purposes.
To access the online self- training course on IAEA's
CLP4NET platform, the participants are required to register to the NUCLEUS platform.
To register a new NUCLEUS account:
- Click on the
Register button in the top right-hand corner of any NUCLEUS page and the
NUCLEUS Registration page will open.
- Complete the registration form by entering all the required fields. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk (*). The email address to be entered on this form must be a valid address that is owned by the participant.
- Enter a password.
- Confirm that you have read and agreed to the Terms of Use by clicking the
I accept button.
Upon successful registration, the user would receive an e-mail from the sender of DO_NOT_REPLY@iaea.org as given below to activate the Nucleus account.
Before the user can sign into NUCLEUS with his/her username and password, He/she must activate the account by opening the link that is send to him/her by e-mail. This is done in order to verify that the e-mail address he/she has given is indeed valid and belongs to him/her. Steps to be carried out for the Nucleus Registration:
- Go to e-mail inbox.
- Open the e-mail with subject line:
IAEA NUCLEUS Account Created. The sender will be DO_NOT_REPLY@iaea.org.
- If user could not find the e-mail in the inbox, user should check the spam or junk mail folders. If the email is not in these folders, mark the e-mail as "safe" or "not spam" to ensure that the user receive any future correspondence e-mails from NUCLEUS.
- Click on the "Click here to activate" link in the e-mail.
- A new browser window or tab will open. If the link does not work, copy and paste the activation URL from the e-mail into web browser's address bar.
- The NUCLEUS Account will be activated and the user will be able to
sign in to NUCLEUS using the username and password entered in the NUCLEUS Registration form.
