The Follow-up Action Plan Questionnaire is intended to follow-up with the member states regarding the status of the draft regulations that were addressed during the in-person school in Vienna, Austria. It allows the IAEA the ability to promptly assist Member states with the draft regulations. It also acts as a mechanism for the IAEA to closely monitor the status of draft regulations of the Member status and the present status of implementation. 

It is a simple questionnaire created using Microsoft Forms that is tailored to the School. The IAEA technical officer sends out the questionnaire via link or QR code and asks that participants and Member states submit their answers via this official channel. The questionnaire can be accessed by clicking the link or by scanning the QR code with a smartphone or tablet. The questionnaire can take a maximum of two regulations and up to ten action plans under each regulation for both standard and combination programmes. Additionally, using the comments section provided at the end of the questionnaire, Member states may add any extra information they wish to share with the IAEA. The information provider upon submission of the filled-in questionnaire, will also receive a receipt of the responses and it is highly recommended that the Member states keep this receipt of responses, which they will obtain after submitting their comments, for future reference. IAEA will utilize this data for official and to further improvise follow-up mechanisms going forward.​
