| Purpose | A Site and Seismic Safety Review Service (SSRS) is a multidisciplinary review amied to assess the safety of a nuclear installation site during the complete life cycle of the facility. The objective of the SSRS is to provide upon request from a Member State an independent review and assessment of the site and nuclear installation safety in relation to external natural and man induced hazards and to make recommendations on additional analysis or plant modifications to be carried out in order to comply with the IAEA Safety Standards and to enhance safety. | ||||
