Peer Review Service: INSARR - Integrated Safety Assessment of Research Reactors
Purpose	INSARR missions are an IAEA safety review service offered, to assist Member States in ensuring and enhancing the safety of research reactors.  Comprehensive peer reviews of the safety of research reactors are based on the IAEA’s Safety Standards.
Audience	Regulatory bodies and operating organisations in Member States operating research reactors or planning to acquire their first facility.
Team composition	International Team of Experts (5 to 10 experts)
Duration	One to two weeks
Expected output	Improved safety of research reactors
Average usage in 2005-2010	6 missions per year including the follow-up INSARR missions 2008 Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan; 2009 Morocoo, Ghana,Uzbekistan, Iran(Follow-up INSARR), Jamaica, Nigeria; 2010 Egypt,Jordan, Norway (Follow-up INSARR)
