Expert mission to support countries embarking on NPP
List of modules Each mission is tailored to MS request based on the 11 safety modules of application of SSG 16
Purpose To assist countries planning and preparing to embark on a NPP to establish the safety infrastructure based on the IAEA safety standards . Safety missions aim at providing advice to embarking countries to implement the actions proposed in safety guide DS 424. The scope of safety missions is defined based on the gaps identified by a national self assessment and peer review by the IAEA. Safety topics of assistance are defined based on the 20 elements of the safety infrastructure as presented in SSG 16.
